I absolutely loved this book! While reading 'Chaos' the reader is consistently presented with evidence that one of the biggest and most well-known murder trials of all time was even bigger than had ever been revealed. The Manson family, seemingly, had connections to Hollywood, the music industry, and even the CIA. My jaw was dropping on nearly every page and the author's indicated promise of a follow-up only has my appetite for this story growing. This book was a thrill-ride!

I snagged this for my toddler just before our camping trip and it was THE bedtime favorite. The entire series is fantastic,,, and my little one loves running their fingers over the pages. The cute rhymes make for an easy cadence for kiddos to fall asleep to.

The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah
This book has been along-time favorite of mine for ever since I stumbled upon the urban fiction genre way before I should've. I recently re-read it in order to have fresh understanding of the sequel, "Life After Death", which focuses on Winter's journey immediately after the events of the original novel. I'll more than likely re-read them both before the next book "Love After Midnight" releases this coming October!
