Graveyard Shift by M.L. Rio
“A thrilling dark academia novella about a misfit group investigating some weird happenings at their university's creepy graveyard. Told from multiple point of views, the events of the story take place over the course of one night. A quick read as you wait for the next M. L. Rio book to drop.” -Mo

John and Paul by Ian Leslie
“This is a wonderful read! Leslie offers us an honest& in-depth analysis of the relationship between Lennon & McCartney, from their first meeting through the murder of Lennon. A sort of myth has colored their story up until now, often with sides being taken. You're either a Lennon or McCartney fan. This book dispels with all of that & demonstrates just how close these two were, even when they weren't. There is much to learn here, even for the most devoted Beatles fans.” -John

Me Before You by JoJo Moyes
“As I read this book, I was transported into the world of the characters. Pictures were painted in my head and I could feel the emotions felt by each of the characters. This book provides an easy and comforting escape from reality, but also provides a rollercoaster of emotions.” -Emma

Loryn—Bookseller, Houma, LA
Pestilence by Laura Thalassa
“It’s this wild, end-of-the-world romance where you somehow end up falling for one of the Four Horsemen. It’s dark, intense, and weirdly beautiful, especially if you’re into that enemies-to-lovers, morally gray vibe.” -Loryn

Tegan—Bookseller, Goldsboro, NC
Red Rising by Pierce Brown
“I will always recommend this book to anyone. It's perfect for any reader whether they're a fan of dystopian and science fiction or not. Darrow and the rest of the cast of characters feel so real. Their stories resonate so deeply with readers that it's impossible to stop thinking about it once you've started the series. If that doesn't convince you, this book will rip your heart out and slowly piece it back together in the midst of a galaxy-breaking rebellion and betrayal with found family, subtle romance, and unexpected humor.” -Tegan

Riley—Bookseller, Aiken, SC
Story of My Life by Lucy Score
“The story centers around two dynamic characters, both with their own unique struggles and baggage. What sets this book apart is how deeply we get to know them. Their vulnerabilities, dreams, and fears. Lucy Score’s ability to create multi-dimensional, relatable characters makes you feel like you're experiencing their journey alongside them. You will find yourself rooting for them, invested in their happiness, and even laughing along with their witty banter.” -Riley

Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins
“Sunrise on the Reaping is a must read for any fan of The Hunger Games. This book is full of heartbreaking realizations and connections that make the original trilogy even more devastating. Even though the readers know that Haymitch’s story is tragic, there were moments where you couldn’t help but hope that the outcome would be different. Getting to see Haymitch’s POV of his games and the events that took place after was insightful in many ways.” -Mackenzie

Preslee—Bookseller, Toledo, OH
The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All by Sumiko Arai
“This adorable manga features a love story between two girls that bond over their shared love of rock music. Not only is the art beautiful, but the budding friendship and romance between the main characters is heartwarming. An anime adaptation was just announced for this series. Make sure to read the manga before the anime comes out!” -Preslee

Katherine—Bookseller, New Bern, NC
This Book Will Bury Me by Ashley Winstead
“I just finished this book and LOVED it! It is told kind of like a true crime documentary. I could not put it down! The details are so thought out, you really get to know the characters and watch them evolve, so many turns and even more! If you like true crime then you will love this book!”- Katherine

Emma—Bookseller, Alexandria, LA
Warriors Graphic Novel: The Prophecies Begin #1 by Erin Hunter
“This a great adaptation of the book series I read as a kid through middle school into junior high. The art is absolutely amazing, and the character designs translate almost perfection from page description top picture. The storylines and dialogue follow the story from the books to a T. I'm super excited to see the Warriors book series get its own graphic novel. I'm hopeful the series will reach a wider audience with its presence in Graphic Novel form. I will be buying and reading the #2 volume of the series next paycheck!” -Emma
